Coming into force
The Secretary of State for Transport makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by section 56(1) and (2) of the Finance Act 19731.
In relation to the exercise of his powers under the Finance Act 1973 the Secretary of State has the consent of the Treasury.
In determining the amount of the fees specified in these Regulations, the Secretary of State has taken into account the cost of the functions listed in item C in Table II of Schedule 1 to the Department of Transport (Fees) Order 19882 and has taken into account the matters listed in paragraphs 1 to 8 of Schedule 2.
