EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the Regulations)
These Regulations revoke and replace with amendments the Smoke Control Areas (Authorised Fuels) (England) Regulations 2014 (S.I. 2014/491).
These Regulations list authorised fuels for the purposes of Part 3 of the Clean Air Act 1993. Four additional fuels are authorised and have been inserted into the Schedule in paragraphs 9, 31, 46 and 51. Minor editorial amendments have been made to the definitions of other fuels.
An impact assessment has not been produced as no impact on the private, voluntary or public sectors is foreseen.
