Citation and commencement1

This Order may be cited as the Enterprise Act 2002 (Part 8 EU Infringements) Order 2014 and comes into force on 27th November 2014.

Revocation of the Enterprise Act 2002 (Part 8 EU Infringements) Order 20132

The Enterprise Act 2002 (Part 8 EU Infringements) Order 2013 M1 is revoked.

Listed Directive and Specified Law3

In Schedule 13 to the Enterprise Act 2002 (listed Directives and Regulations), after paragraph 9E insert—

Directive 2011/83/EU of the European Parliament and of the Council of 25 October 2011 on consumer rights, amending Council Directive 93/13/EEC and Directive 1999/44/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council and repealing Council Directive 85/577/EEC and Directive 97/7/EC of the European Parliament and of the Council.

The law set out in the Schedule to this Order is specified for the purposes of section 212 of the Enterprise Act 2002 to the extent that it gives effect to the listed Directive or provides additional permitted protections.
