SCHEDULE 5 U.K. CONSEQUENTIAL MODIFICATIONS TO PRIMARY LEGISLATION

Asylum and Immigration (Treatment of Claimants, etc.) Act 2004 U.K.

16.  Section 14(2) of the Asylum and Immigration (Treatment of Claimants, etc.) Act 2004(1) (immigration officer: power of arrest) is amended as follows—

(a) omit paragraph (b)(iv); and

(b) before paragraph (c), insert—

“(ba) an offence under section 24(A1) of the Marriage (Scotland) Act 1977 (c.15) (offences)(2),”.
