Universal Credit Regulations 2013
28.—(1) The Universal Credit Regulations 2013(1) are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 2 (interpretation)—
(a)the definition of “additional statutory paternity pay” is omitted;
(b)in the definition of “ordinary statutory paternity pay” the word “ordinary” is omitted in both places where it occurs;
(c)after the definition of “statutory maternity pay” insert—
““statutory shared parental pay” means statutory shared parental pay payable in accordance with Part 12ZC of the Contributions and Benefits Act;”.
(3) In regulation 32 (the work condition), in paragraph (2)(b)—
(a)the word “ordinary” is omitted;
(b)omit “additional statutory paternity pay,”;
(c)after “statutory adoption pay” insert “, statutory shared parental pay”.
(4) In regulation 55 (employed earnings), in paragraph (4)—
(a)in sub-paragraph (c) omit “ordinary”;
(b)omit sub-paragraph (d);
(c)in sub-paragraph (e) at the end for “.” substitute “; and”;
(d)after sub-paragraph (e) insert—
“(f)statutory shared parental pay.”.
