The Treasury are designated1 for the purposes of section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 19722 in relation to financial services.
The Treasury, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 1972 and sections 17(2) to (4) and 142(3) of the Financial Services (Banking Reform) Act 20133, make the following Order:
