This regulation applies to the provision of consent to use under section 44A(6) of the 1949 Act, and to applications under regulations 3 and 4, and cancellation under regulation 5, in cases where the sharing church is the Society of Friends (commonly called the Quakers).

In such cases, the relevant governing authority for the Society of Friends is the recording clerk for the time being of the Society of Friends in London.
