The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 28D, 28G(2) and (3) and 28H(5)(c) and (7) and (10)(b) and (c) of the Marriage Act 19491 and sections 9B, 9E(2) and (3) and 12A(5)(c) and (7) and (9)(b) and (c) of the Civil Partnership Act 20042, and after consulting the Registrar General3, makes the following Regulations:
