Drug trafficking – compensation on acquittal in the Crown Court

33.69.  Where the Crown Court cancels a confiscation order under section 22(2) of the Drug Trafficking Act 1994(1), the Crown Court officer must serve notice to that effect on the High Court officer and on the court officer of the magistrates’ court which has responsibility for enforcing the order.
