A draft of these Regulations was laid before Parliament in accordance with section 51(5) of the National Minimum Wage Act 19981 and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament.
The Secretary of State, in accordance with sections 5(4) and 6(3) of the National Minimum Wage Act 1998, has laid a report before each House of Parliament containing a statement of reasons for the decision to make regulations in the circumstances described in paragraphs (b) and (d) of section 5(4).
The Secretary of State, in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1(3), 2, 3 and 51 of the National Minimum Wage Act 19982, makes the following Regulations.
