PART 7Notice requirements and rights of entry

Entry and inspection by F1NHS England54

Subject to the conditions specified in sub-paragraph (2), the contractor must allow any person authorised in writing by F1NHS England to enter and inspect the contractor's practice premises at any reasonable time.

The conditions specified in this sub-paragraph are that—

a

reasonable notice of the intended entry has been given;

b

written evidence of the authority of the person seeking entry is produced to the contractor on request; and

c

entry is not made to any premises or part of the premises used as residential accommodation without the consent of the resident.

The contractor or F1NHS England or a person authorised in writing by F1NHS England may invite the Local Medical Committee (if any) for the area in which the contractor provides services under the contract to be present at any inspection of the contractor's practice premises which takes place under this paragraph.
