Amendment of the National Health Service (General Medical Services Contracts) (Prescription of Drugs etc) Regulations 20041

In the National Health Service (General Medical Service Contracts) (Prescription of Drugs etc) Regulations 2004 M1, in Schedule 2 (drugs, medicines and other substances that may be ordered only in certain circumstances: interpretation)—

a

for the definition of “general medical practitioner” substitute—

“general medical practitioner” has the meaning given in regulation 3 of the National Health Service (General Medical Services Contracts) Regulations 2015;

b

for the definition of “patient” substitute—

“patient” has the meaning given in regulation 3 of the National Health Service (General Medical Services Contracts) Regulations 2015;
