Amendment of the Income Support (General) Regulations 1987

8.—(1) The Income Support (General) Regulations 1987(1) are amended as follows.

(2) In regulation 2(1) (interpretation) in the definition of “the benefit Acts”, for “and Part 4 of the 2012 Act” substitute “, Part 4 of the 2012 Act and Part 1 of the Pensions Act 2014”(2).

(3) In paragraph 12(1)(c) (additional condition for the Higher Pensioner and Disability Premiums)(3) of Schedule 2 (applicable amounts) after “that Act” insert “or a state pension under Part 1 of the Pensions Act 2014”.
