PART 1General

Meaning of “active member” of the 1987 scheme or the equivalent NI police pension scheme

(1)

This paragraph applies in relation to—

(a)

the 1987 scheme; and

(b)

the 1988 NI police pension scheme.

(2)

For the purpose of this Schedule, a transition member (T) is an active member of a scheme mentioned in sub-paragraph (1) on a given date if on that date T is in pensionable service M1 under that scheme.
