These Regulations are the first commencement regulations made under the Infrastructure Act 2015 (c.7) (“the Act”).
Regulation 2 brings into force on 5th March 2015 Part 1 for remaining purposes and, in respect of England only, sections 24 and 25 of the Act.
Regulation 3 brings into force on 12th April 2015 sections 23 (in respect of England only), 41 and 42 of, and Schedule 7 to, the Act.
An impact assessment of the effect that the Act will have on the costs of business and the voluntary sector has been produced, and a copy is available at http://www.parliament.uk/documents/impact-assessments/IA15-003.pdf. No separate impact assessment has been produced for this instrument.
