The Plant Health (England) Order 2015

Coming into force

The Secretary of State makes this Order in exercise of—

(a)
the powers conferred by sections 2, 3 and 4(1) of the Plant Health Act 19671 and now vested in the Secretary of State2; and
(b)
the powers conferred by paragraph 1A of Schedule 2 to the European Communities Act 19723.
This Order makes provision for a purpose mentioned in section 2(2) of the European Communities Act 19724. It appears to the Secretary of State that it is expedient for the references to the European Union instruments referred to in article 2(5) to be construed as references to those instruments as amended from time to time.
