The Social Security (Industrial Injuries) (Prescribed Diseases) Amendment Regulations 2015

The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 108(2), 109(2), 122(1), 175(1) and (3) to (5) of, and paragraph 2 of Schedule 6 to, the Social Security Contributions and Benefits Act 1992(1) after reference to the Industrial Injuries Advisory Council(2).
The Secretary of State is satisfied of the matters referred to in section 108(2)(a) and (b) of that Act.
1992 c.4. Section 109(2) is amended by paragraph 65 of Schedule 7 to the Social Security Act 1998 (c.14), section 175(1) and (4) is amended by the Social Security Contributions (Transfer of Functions etc) Act 1999 (c.2), section 175(5) is amended by the Social Security (Incapacity for Work) Act 1994 (c .18), section 122(1) is cited for the meaning of “prescribe”.
