The National Health Service Pension Scheme Regulations 2015

1.  The following are NHS organisations for the purposes of these Regulations—

(a)a Special Health Authority established under section 28 of the 2006 Act(1) or section 22 of the 2006 (Wales) Act(2);

(b)a Local Health Board established under section 11 of the 2006 (Wales) Act;

(c)a National Health Service trust established under section 25 of the 2006 Act(3) or section 18 of the 2006 (Wales) Act;

(d)an NHS foundation trust within the meaning of section 30(1) of the 2006 Act(4);

(e)the National Health Service Commissioning Board established under section 1H of the 2006 Act(5);

(f)a Clinical Commissioning Group established under section 1I of the 2006 Act(6).

Section 28 has been amended by section 55(1) of, and paragraph 13 of Schedule 4 to, the Health and Social Care Act 2012 (c.7).

(2)

Section 22 has been amended by section 297 of, and paragraphs 12 and 18 of Schedule 21 to, the Health and Social Care Act 2012.

(3)

Section 25 is prospectively repealed by section 179(2) of the Health and Social Care Act 2012.

(4)

Section 30(1) has been amended by section 159(1) of the Health and Social Care Act 2012.

(5)

Section 1H was inserted by section 9 of the Health and Social Care Act 2012.

(6)

Section 1I was inserted by section 10 of the Health and Social Care Act 2012.
