1.1.—(1) These Rules are made to give effect to [F1Part A1] to 11 of the Insolvency Act 1986 and to the [F2EU Regulation].
(2) Consequently references to insolvency proceedings and requirements relating to such proceedings are, unless the context requires otherwise, limited to proceedings in respect of [F1Part A1] to 11 of the Act and the [F2EU Regulation] (whether or not court proceedings).
