In regulation 1 of the Merchant Shipping (Prevention of Oil Pollution) Regulations 1996 (interpretation)16, for the definition of “approved”, substitute—
“approved” means, in relation to any equipment or arrangement, approved under the Merchant Shipping (Marine Equipment) Regulations 2016;
