In this Schedule—

  • “waste” means waste within the meaning of Article 3(1) of the Waste Framework Directive;

  • “waste motor vehicle” means a motor vehicle that is waste.

When interpreting the End-of-Life Vehicles Directive for the purposes of this Schedule—

a

except where otherwise defined in this paragraph, an expression that is defined in Part 1 of these Regulations has the meaning given in that Part;

b

“end-of-life vehicle” means waste motor vehicle;

c

“vehicle” means any motor vehicle;

d

“waste” means waste within the meaning of Article 3(1) of the Waste Framework Directive.
