A person who has inadvertently dealt with their signing sheet in such manner that it cannot be conveniently used as a signing sheet may, on delivering it to the petition clerk and proving to the clerk’s satisfaction the fact of the inadvertence, obtain another signing sheet in the place of the signing sheet so delivered, and the spoilt signing sheet must be immediately cancelled.
