making rules;

giving guidance; and

imposing requirements or giving directions.

this article and articles 2(1), (2), (5), 6(1) and (2), 9, 10(1), (3) and (4), 11 and 12 come into force on the day after the day on which this Order is made;

articles 2(10)(a), (13) and (17) and 7 come into force on 20th March 2016;

articles 2(3), (4), (7), (8), (10)(b), (11), (12), (14) to (16) and (18) to (21), 3, 4, 6(4) and (5) and 8 come into force immediately after the coming into force of article 2(3) to (5) of the Financial Services and Markets Act 2000 (Regulated Activities) (Amendment) (No.3) Order 20159, on 21st March 2016; and

the remaining provisions of this Order come into force on 6th April 2016.
