Any person may apply to the CAA for approval as an aeroplane and rotorcraft maintenance organisation.

The CAA must approve a person as an aeroplane and rotorcraft maintenance organisation for the purposes of this Part if it is satisfied that the applicant is competent to exercise the privileges of such an organisation in this Part.
