8. In Part 1 of Schedule 1 to the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000 (relevant public authorities)(1)—
(a)before paragraph 9A insert—
“9ZC. The Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy.”, and
(b)omit paragraph 9ZB (Department for Business, Innovation and Skills) and the entry in paragraph 10ZA for the Department of Energy and Climate Change.
Schedule 1 was amended by S.I. 2007/3224, Sch., by S.I. 2009/229, Sch. 2 and by S.I. 2009/2748, Sch. Paragraph 9ZB was inserted by S.I. 2009/2748, Sch. Other amendments have been made to Schedule 1 which are not relevant to this Order.
