The Joint Committee must take such steps as it considers appropriate to promote public awareness of, and to disseminate information on—
a
the need to protect species of wild flora and fauna found in the offshore marine area; and
b
the need to conserve the habitats of such flora and fauna and natural habitats found in the offshore marine area.
