7.—(1) Section 2(1) of the Health Act 2009(1) (duty to have regard to NHS Constitution) applies to the GMCA in the exercise of its relevant functions as it applies to the constituent councils in the performance of their health service functions.
(2) In paragraph (1), “health service function” has the meaning given by section 2(3) of the Health Act 2009(2).
