This Order may be cited as the Patents (Isle of Man) (Amendment) Order 2017.

This Order comes into force on the date of entry into force of the Agreement on a Unified Patent Court signed at Brussels on 19th February 20132.

Any question whether an act done before commencement infringes a patent is to be determined in accordance with the law relating to infringement in force at the time the act was done.

In sub-paragraph (1), “commencement” means, in accordance with article 1(2), the date upon which this Order comes into force.
