The General Synod, in exercise of the powers conferred by section 6 of the Clergy Pensions (Amendment) Measure 1972(1), approves the following Regulations.
In accordance with section 6(4) of that Measure, these Regulations have been prepared by the Church of England Pensions Board and laid before the General Synod.
1972 No.5 . Relevant amendments to section 6 have been made by the section 16 of the Church of England (Pensions) Measure 1988 and paragraph 17 of Schedule 1 to the Pensions Measure 1997.
