These Regulations make consequential amendments and savings provisions in relation to the provisions of the Deregulation Act 2015 and the Small Business, Enterprise and Employment Act 2015 commencing on 6th April 2017 by virtue of S.I. 2016/1016 and S.I. 2016/1020.
Regulation 2 introduces Schedule 1 and regulation 3 introduces Schedule 2. These schedules make amendments to primary and subordinate legislation respectively.
Schedule 1 makes amendments to the Administration of Justice Act 1985, the Companies Act 1989, the Pensions Act 2004, the Legal Services Act 2007 and the Postal Services Act 2011.
Schedule 2 makes amendments to the Administration of Insolvent Estates of Deceased Persons Order 1986, the Insolvent Partnerships Order 1995, the Legal Services Act 2007 (Designation of a Licensing Authority) (No. 2) Order 2011, and the Legal Services Act 2007 (the Chartered Institute of Patent Attorneys and the Institute of Trade Mark Attorneys) (Modification of Functions) Order 2014.
No impact assessment has been prepared for these Regulations as no impact on the private or voluntary sectors is foreseen.
