Amendments to regulation 810

Regulation 8 (request as to the information to be included in an environmental statement) is amended as follows.

In paragraph (1) after “opinion as to the” insert “scope and level of detail of”.

After paragraph (3) insert—

In reaching its opinion under paragraph (1), the appropriate Authority shall take into account the information provided by the drainage body including—
a
the information about the specific characteristics of the improvement works (including their location and technical capacity); and
b
the likely effects of the improvement works on the environment.

In paragraph (4)—
a
for “requesting” substitute “requiring”;
b
for “12(5)” insert “12B(5)”.
