The Technical and Further Education Act 2017 (Commencement No. 1 and Transitional Provision) Regulations 2017

EMPLOYMENT AND TRAINING, ENGLAND
These Regulations bring into force the specified provisions of the Technical and Further Education Act 2017 (c. 19) (“the 2017 Act”) on 16th August 2017. These are the first commencement regulations made under the 2017 Act. Part 4 of, and paragraph 35 of Schedule 1 to, the 2017 Act came into force on the day the 2017 Act was passed.
Transitional Provision3
From 16th August 2017 until commencement of section 1(1) of the 2017 Act, section A2B(4) of the Apprenticeships, Skills, Children and Learning Act 20092 is to be read as if for “the Institute” there were substituted “the IfA”3.
