The Housing Benefit (Persons who have attained the qualifying age for state pension credit) Regulations 200635 are amended as follows.

In regulation 21 (circumstances in which a person is to be treated as being or not being a member of the household), in paragraph (3)(a) for “section 23(2)(a)” substitute “section 22C(2)”.

In regulation 38 (earnings of self-employed earners), in paragraph (2)(b)(i), for “section 23(2)(a) of the Children Act 1989 (provision of accommodation and maintenance for a child whom they are looking after)” substitute “section 22C(2) of the Children Act 1989 (ways in which looked after children are to be accommodated and maintained)”.
