Coming into force in accordance with regulation 1.
The Secretary of State makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 1(1) to (3), 2(1) and (2), 3(1), 4(1) and (2), 5(1) and (2), and 25(1) of the Haulage Permits and Trailer Registration Act 2018(1).
The Secretary of State has consulted the persons referred to in section 23 of that Act.
A draft of these Regulations has been approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament in accordance with section 25(3)(a) and (b) of that Act.
