Amendment of the Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988

3.—(1) The Road Traffic Offenders Act 1988(1) is amended as follows.

(2) In section 36(11)(a) (disqualification until test is passed)(2), for “another” substitute “an”.

(3) In section 91A(7)(b)(i) (application to Community licence holders)(3), for “another” substitute “an” .

Section 36 was substituted by the Road Traffic Act 1991 (c. 40), section 32. Subsection (11)(a) was amended by S.I. 1996/1974, Schedule 2, paragraph 3(a) and (b).

Section 91A was inserted by S.I. 1996/1974, Schedule 2, paragraph 4. Subsection (7) was substituted by the Road Safety Act 2006 (c. 49), Schedule 3, paragraphs 30 and 59(1) and (6).
