The Secretary of State for Work and Pensions makes the following Regulations in exercise of the powers conferred by sections 73(2)(b) and (4)(b), 181(1) and 182(2) and (3) of the Pension Schemes Act 1993(1) and sections 43 and 54(5) and (6) of, and paragraphs 1(1)(a) and 7(1) of Schedule 18 to, the Pensions Act 2014(2).

In accordance with section 185(1) of the Pension Schemes Act 1993(3) and paragraph 8 of Schedule 18 to the Pensions Act 2014, the Secretary of State has consulted such persons as she considers appropriate.
