The Secretary of State for Education makes the following Order in exercise of the powers conferred by section 129(1) of the Education Reform Act 19881.

Citation, commencement and application1

This Order may be cited as the Education (Designated Institutions) (England) Order 2018 and comes into force on 22nd June 2018.

This Order applies in relation to England.

Designation of institution2

Leeds College of Music2, being an institution which appears to the Secretary of State to fall within section 129(2) of the Education Reform Act 1988, is designated as an institution eligible to receive support from funds administered by a higher education funding council3.
