Categories of purchaser15
For the purposes of this Part—
a
a person is in Category A if the person is a UK primary medical services provider or a Health Service chemist;
b
a person is in Category B if the person is an NHS hospital purchaser or purchases UK health service products under an NHS framework contract;
c
a person is in a Category C if the person—
i
is a medicines wholesaler or a medical supplies wholesaler, and
ii
is not in Category A or Category B;
d
a person is in Category D if the person is not in any of Categories A to C.
