3.—(1) The Charitable Incorporated Organisations (Insolvency and Dissolution) Regulations 2012(1) (“the CIO Regulations”) are amended as follows.
(2) In regulation 2(1), at the appropriate place, insert ““CIO” has the same meaning as set out in section 204 of the Charities Act 2011(2);”.
(3) In regulation 3—
(a)in the heading, after “CIOs” insert “: general”,
(b)for “The Schedule” substitute “Schedule 1”.
(4) After regulation 3, insert—
3A.—(1) Schedule 2 (which contains additional provision about the application of Schedule B1 and certain other legislation to housing administration orders in relation to CIOs) has effect.
(2) “Housing administration order” has the meaning given in section 95 of the Housing and Planning Act 2016.”.
(5) The Schedule becomes Schedule 1.
(6) The Schedule set out at Schedule 2 to these Regulations is inserted as Schedule 2 to the CIO Regulations.
