2.  In these Regulations—

“the Act” means the European Union (Withdrawal) Act 2018;

“the 2008 Act” means the European Union (Amendment) Act 2008 M1;

“the 2011 Act” means the European Union Act 2011 M2;

“the First Appointed Day” means 4 July 2018.
