1.—(1) These Regulations may be cited as the Trade Marks Regulations 2018 and come into force on 14th January 2019.
(2) In these Regulations—
“the 1994 Act” means the Trade Marks Act 1994;
“the CTM Regulations” means the Community Trade Mark Regulations 2006(1);
“the International Registration Order” means the Trade Marks (International Registration) Order 2008(2);
“the Rules” means the Trade Marks Rules 2008(3).
