A direction given under section 94 of the 1984 Act (directions in the interests of national security etc.)4 which imposes requirements relating to the acquisition of communications data in bulk and which is in force immediately before 22nd August 2018 continues to have effect until 22nd February 2019, unless revoked earlier.
