Amendments to the Representation of the People Act 1983

2. The Representation of the People Act 1983(1) is amended in accordance with regulations 3 to 5.

Section 9A(2) was inserted by section 9(1) of the Electoral Administration Act 2006 (c. 22) and amended by paragraphs 1 and 6(1) and (3) of Schedule 4 to the 2013 Act and section 18(3)(b) and (c) of the 2014 Northern Ireland Act; section 9D was inserted by section 4 of the 2013 Act; paragraph 1B of Schedule 2 was inserted by paragraph 20(3) of Schedule 4 to that Act, and paragraph 3C of Schedule 2 was inserted by paragraphs 20(1) and (5) of Schedule 4 to that Act.
