21.—(1) Section 7A of the Health and Personal Social Services Act (Northern Ireland) 2001 (power to obtain information etc) M1 is amended as follows.

(2) In subsection (3), for “GDPR” substitute “ UK GDPR ”.

(3) For subsection (8) substitute—

“(8) In this section, “the UK GDPR” has the same meaning as in Parts 5 to 7 of the Data Protection Act 2018 (see section 3(10) and (14) of that Act).”.
