PART 2 U.K. Designation of persons

Power to designate persons U.K.

5.—(1) The Secretary of State may designate persons by name for the purposes of any of the following—

(a) regulations 12 to 16 (asset freeze etc.); and

(b) regulation 18 (Immigration).

(2) The Secretary of State may designate different persons for the purposes of [F1 different provisions mentioned in] paragraph (1).
