The competent authority of each constituent territory of the United Kingdom must appoint a coordinating authority responsible for collecting the data concerning—

a

competitions reserved for equidae registered in a specific studbook for the purpose of permitting the improvement of the breed;

b

regional competitions with a view to selecting equidae;

c

historic or traditional events.

the criteria for the distribution of funds for the safeguard, development and improvement of breeding which have been reserved from the prize money or profits of competitions.
