14.  In section 21 (provisional registration of EEA nationals etc with certain overseas qualifications) M1 , for subsection (2), substitute— U.K.

“(2) Where a person—

(a) has made an application to the General Council, before [F1 IP completion day], to be provisionally registered under this section, and

(b) satisfies the Registrar of the matters specified in paragraphs (a), (aa) and (c) of section 19(1),

the person shall, if the Council think fit so to direct, be provisionally registered under this section.”.
