3.  In section 67E (interpretation of provisions about defences) M1 , in the definition of “registrant”— U.K.

(a) in paragraph (a), for “2, 4 or 5” substitute “ or 2 ”;

(b) in paragraph (b), omit the words from “or the register” to “European State”.
