CHAPTER 1 U.K.Amendment of Commission Regulation on initial airworthiness

Amendment of Appendix 8 to Annex 1 to Commission Regulation (EU) No 748/2012 U.K.

232.—(1) Appendix 8 is amended as follows.

(2) In the heading, for “EASA Form 52” substitute “CAA Form 52”.

(3) In the form—

(a) in Block 2, for “[Member State] A Member State of the European Union” substitute “United Kingdom”;

(b) at the end, for “EASA Form 52 Issue 2” substitute “CAA Form 52 Issue 1”;

(c) omit footnotes (1) and (2).

(4) In the “Instructions for the use of Aircraft Statement of Conformity EASA Form 52”—

(a) in the heading, for “EASA Form 52” substitute “CAA Form 52”;

(b) in paragraph 1.2—

(i) for “(EASA Form 52)” substitute “(CAA Form 52)”;

(ii) for “competent authority of the Member State of registry” substitute “CAA”;

(c) in paragraph 2.1, for “competent authority” substitute “CAA”;

(d) in paragraph 2.3—

(i) at the end of the first sentence insert “in English”;

(ii) omit the second sentence;

(e) in paragraph 3.2, for “to the competent authority of the Member State of registry” substitute “to the CAA”;

(f) in paragraph 3.3, for “competent authority” substitute “CAA”;

(g) omit the instructions for Block 2;

(h) in the instructions for Block 7, for “competent authority of the Member State” substitute “CAA”;

(i) in the instructions for Block 21, for “competent authority” substitute “CAA”.
