Amendment of the Employment Rights Act 1996 U.K.

18.  In section 205A of the Employment Rights Act 1996 M1 (employee shareholders), in subsection (13), in the definition of “company”, for paragraph (b) substitute—

“(b) a United Kingdom Societas (or UK Societas) within the meaning of Council Regulation 2157/2001/EC of 8 October 2001 on the Statute for a European company;”.
